Christian Communicators "LIVE!"

Since May of last year I have been attending a group called "Christian Communicators". Stacy Robinson, who owns The Robinson Agency, a resource to event planners seeking excellent speakers and artists for corporate, church, and community events, started the group along with several others to encourage women who are connected with communication in various ways.

After each meeting, I leave truly blessed. Last evening Beth Bacall from 104.7 The Fish was our speaker. She is an amazing woman who was not only entertaining, but also has a deep love for her work, family, and most of all God. I left feeling honored to be with such a great group of Godly women.

Happy New Year!  It was a year ago on January 15^th that we launched Our Southern Breeze in Dallas, TX at my brother-in-law, Ron Hall and his wife Beth’s home.  It was an event that I missed due to emergency surgery on my tummy!  That event began an exciting journey for me.

I wanted to thank so many people who not only read my book but told others about it.  There have been opportunities for me to speak at churches, book clubs, and other events.  I was honored to speak in San Antonio at an event hosted by South Texas Money Management called ‘Second Chances’.

As I focus more on the book, Debbie Kirtland, who has been running DJ Consultants since I started writing Our Southern Breeze, is gradually taking over most of the responsibilities of the company.  What a blessing to know that she has the passion and love that I’ve had for so many years.

I just received more pictures from the event in San Antonio and wanted to share them with you.  The table decorations were a contest that they had at South Texas Money Management.  The decorations were designed with items that would be given to SAMMinistries for bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, etc.  ENJOY!

On November 14th I was honored to ask to speak at an event hosted my South Texas Money Management and honoring SAMMinistries.  The theme of the event was 'Second Chances'.  What an honor and blessing to have an opportunity to share my heart at such a wonderful occasion. I met some wonderful people!

Speaking on the 14th in San Antonio

South Texas Money Management, Ltd. is having an event tomorrow and invited me to be the guest speaker to share the rest of the story behind "Same Kind of Different As Me". The event is titled 'Second Chances' and I was asked to share my story from "Our Southern Breeze" of forgiveness, restoration, and second chances.  They have partnered with SAMMinistries and are offering autographed copies of "Our Southern Breeze" to the first 100 attendees that make a donation of $20 or more to the SAMM homeless prevention program.

Television taping for The Peggy Denny Show

This Monday the 5th I will be in South Carolina taping The Peggy Denny Show that is produced at the studios of WGGS.  It will only be shown in North & South Carolina but The Robinson Agency, who got me the interview, requested that I put it on u-Tube. I seem to be fretting more about what to wear that being on the show!!! I consider this a great opportunity to talk about "Our Southern Breeze" and the amazing journey I am on!
